Since 2013, I have had the amazing opportunity to work with hundreds of young people in schools, in small groups, and in individual counseling.
My approach to therapy is strengthened by my focus on building a genuine, consistent, caring counseling relationship with every one of my clients. I am a strengths-based counselor, drawing from positive psychology theory to maximize individual strengths and work towards short-term and long-range goals.
My therapeutic approach is unique by design; I incorporate my favorite cognitive behavioral (CBT) and dialectical behavioral (DBT) techniques to create a well-rounded and evidence-based treatment plan that is customized to meet each client’s needs. As a therapist, my work is informed by my interest in mindfulness practices, creativity, and the outdoors.
